I guess you set your admin user to use Joomdle auth. We don't recommend this, as any problem with Joomdle will lock you out. You should always keep a "normal" Moodle admin, so no matter what happens to Joomdle, you can still log in.

As for the error you are getting, can you paste it full?

I definitely will next time I attempt this one. I was just looking for the best practice on how to do the update. I may have set the admin to login with Joomdle auth, I'll check that out. That may fix it all on its own Antonio.

Antonio,

You hit it on the head. I didn't realize you have to go to another link to log in with your admin user through the backend. I got everything up and running without a problem after realizing that. I caught it in the documentation, right by where it discusses alternating url's. That fixed the problem.
