Links Behavior Configuration - Need help with 4 empty boxes was created by Jocelyn Garner
Hi Antionio, here is my set of software:
Joomla 2.5.7
Moodle 2.3.3
Joomdle 0.82
System Health Check: All green (using cURL)
I'm trying to display Moodle course content using your Joomdle Course View selections in my main menu. No matter what I do, I can't get the menu option to work. I think it might have something to do with the fact that the following 4 boxes are empty in my configuration:
Here is the excerpt from the documentation ( www.joomdle.com/wiki/Installing_Joomdle_in_Joomla ) that applies to these 4 boxes:
========================================
NOTE: this only works when both Joomla and Moodle are on the same domain.
I don't understand why selecting Course Categories (or Course View or pretty much anything else) does NOT work:
But I am guessing that it has something to do with those empty boxes.
REQUEST: Can you please explain further
Please help!

- Transparent wrapper
- Default Itemid This lets you specify a default itemid to be associated to all calls to the Moodle wrapper
- Joomdle Itemid This lets you specify a default itemid to be associated to all calls to the Joomdle component from Joomdle modules
- Shop Itemid This lets you specify a default itemid to be associated to all calls to the shop component from Joomdle
- Course Itemid Item ID for the course view, used for configuring course-related modules

- What number goes into each of the 4 boxes
- Where to find those numbers?
Please help!

Hi there,
The concept is actually backwards. Those values that enter those 4 boxes are actually taken from the menu id. They are used to give a "moodle page" a menu item id so that you can publish joomla modules with moodle content.
What you are doing, from my understanding, is trying to get moodle content to appear in your joomla menu. Is this correct? If so, it is just a matter of choosing the relevant Joomdle view. You say "Joomdle Course" View, but we actually do not have a view specifically called that. Perhaps you can go to the Joomdle demo and linked to the view that you are trying to create. You may need to log in using the demo id and password to see more information.
