Joomdle - Moodle Set up Auth Error was created by Dylan
Hi All,

I am pretty new to this so am on a steep learning curve (network background) so please be kind.

I have done the following:

1 - installed Moodle and followed all the instructions on the guide,
2 - Installed Joomdle
3 - Installed the Joomdle Auth Plugin for Moodle
3 - activated the plug in, and used the same settings in the guide.

Now if I try and access any of the google pages by using the url I get the following error The requested URL /moodle/admin/settings.php was not found on this server.

I have tried removing the Joomdle Auth file from the main auth root but that didnt work, so I replaced it.

I am running Joomla 2.5 and Moodle 2.3

Please help, as I havent got a clue what to do now

So far I have tried disabling Joomdle. but now still can not access Moodle at all.

They are both on the same server with the addresses:
Joomla www.mysite.com
Moodle www.mysite.com/moodle

However even when I go to the moodle url, I get the URL /moodle/admin/settings.php was not found on this server. error.

Do you suggest a fresh install of Moodle as the next step?

moodle always can run by itself even when integrated with Joomla and Joomdle.

If you can't open this URL means you don't have it or can't access it. So try to reinstall moodle again and verify it is running well before integate it.

Aside from a fresh install, you may consider the following:
- the error message indicates it is looking for a specific file, what happens if you load up that file / back up that file
- did you disable the moodle login and admin access that is described in the wiki instructions ie the stuff that says dont do this unless you know what you are doing and ready to go live

Thanks for the comments.

I am sure, I followed the instructions to the letter, however I am now doubting myself - so a fresh install it is.

Thanks everyone
