Configuring Joomdle for Joomla!

I believe that I completed all the prerequisite steps to prepare and install Joomdle. I arrive at the step to install Joomdle in Joomla using the Extension Manager. Everything seems to install correctly, however, I don't see a Joomdle Component menu so I can't access the Configuration screen.

Any idea what I may have done incorrectly?

The only other times I have come across such a problem was related to the Joomla bug and required the MSQL tables to be "cleaned". This was discussed in the joomla.org forum. Which version of Joomla and Joomdle are you using? During installation, did you notice any error messages? Given you are only just starting, you could try removing joomdle and re-installing.

I didn't notice any error messages. How do you "clean" MSQL tables? I can try removing and reinstalling.

I removed Joomdle and reinstalled it and did receive the following message:


Another menu item with the same parent has this alias
Error building Admin Menus

How do I resolve this?
