Hi there,

Perhaps you have not unzipped the install package first? Have you chosen the correct install package as there are different for 1.5 and 2.5.

A word of caution, if this is required urgently, you may wish to reconsider. Joomdle is not a simple install and go extension as you are integrating two very complex platform together. Joomdle will can install quickly but the learning will take some time to fully leverage its benefits.

I have extracted it, I'm trying to install joomdle R08 on Version 1.7.0 of joomla using extension manager, whenever I try to pick is opening folders inside mean folder i:e not picking all the files.
What else am I missing?

Is there any extension I need to install first as I can't understand why I'm getting this error as atleast installation should be easy as you pointed out?

Aside from unzipping the package, the next logical thing would be to ensure you downloaded the right package ie 2.5 for 2.5 (1.6+) vs 1.5 for J1.5.

Thus far these are the only two problems that I have seen when it comes to the installation of the extension. What is the file (name) you are telling joomla to install?

Make sure you following the prerequisites and then the installation instructions.

www.joomdle.com/wiki/Main_Page

Also before you do anything with Joomdle, ensure you are comfortable with Joomla on its own and Moodle on its own before trying to integrate. When integrating ensure all the items are green ticks under the system health check before you do anything related to getting moodle content into joomla.
