Joomla 2.5.6 - Web-Services was created by Rik Ko
The wiki is written
www.joomdle.com/wiki/Prerequisites/de
that Web services must be activated. The Wiki is unfortunately only for the Joomla version 1.5, because in the version 2.5 I can not find the setting to enable Web services.
So this is also displayed when the system check accordingly.
A second question: does Joomdle with Joomla 2.5.6 and Moodle 2.3?
Thanks for any help!

German wiki is not maintained, so info is old. You should use the english one instead, where it says that setting is only for J1.5.
Joomdle should work fine with the versions you have. Check all the pre-requisites to see if you missed something.

Web services is a way to connect the different platforms (joomla and moodle). In J1.5 you must turn it on. In J2.5 you do not. That said you can still have problems because you need to configure how the platforms talk and thus if not configured properly based on your specific server environment you can get that message. Look your your system health check settings and location the red x. Solve them one by one until all is green check. If you have any red x just look at the faq in the wiki for tips on how to solve. You can also search the forum for only error message that is displayed in your system health check.
