Hi All,
I was hoping someone could give some pointers. How do you present your course listings like the Joomdle demo page? Like so:
I've been trying for ages using the mod_joomdle_courses module but can only get it to display as described in the wiki here .
Looking at the demo page each course has it's own class that is changed with CSS. My listings however don't. Did much custom work go into the demo page and I'm missing something or am I doing something wrong?

I've worked out that you need to add your own Module suffix to decorate with CSS but I cannot get Joomdle to present the courses in the same format as the demo site. I have not been able to find a way to display heading and discription in a list.
Am I missing a Course List module of some sort?

Are you referring to this course listing?
www.joomdle.com/jdemo/index.php/courses/course-list
If so, this is a component view rather than a module. With regards to the look & feel, it is using the default files from the joomdle install. That said, the main look is provided through the demo site's template rather than through joomdle itself.

Thanks Chris,
I'll investigate displaying the components instead of modules. And in the main Joomla template will I add the borders/boxes using the model suffix applied in to the component?

That really depends on your template. As said, we have not used any type of formatting (suffix) for views and modules and rely on the joomla template for its formatting. I suggest you get the main look & feel up first and then when happy start tweaking the css as appropriate.

Thanks Chris.
The look and feel phase is complete. I'm concentrating on the course list appearance.
Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to post how I did it for others to see. (Hopefully soon
