What is joomla automatic search? Can you give any indications so I can test it?

Hi Antonio
I prepared a small screencast to show you the problem:
screencast-o-matic.com/watch/clh3IaENs
The problem appears when I activate the joomdle search plugin
after they are activated not work search on joomla
Compare this error
Fatal error: Using $ this not in object context When in / home / insegnal / public_html / libraries / joomla / plugin / plugin.php on line 103
Thanks
Fabio

Hi there.
I could not yet see the video (it tell me I have an old java).
If you can explain it, or upload it to a non-java site, that would be cool.
Otherwise, it will have to wait until I am on a computer that can load the video.

Thanks, I can watch it now.
However, I don't know how to replicate the problem. I tested in my local 2.5.4 installarion, and search worked fine.
You said something about "automatic search": what is that and how I enable it? Or did you set any other config in Joomla regarding search?

It makes me think it might be something connected to the YOOtheme template,
although the search form is the original joomla.
However, even doing a "normal" search you see this error message:
Fatal error: Using $ this not in object context When in / home / insegnal / public_html / libraries / joomla / plugin / plugin.php on line 103
thanks
