I recently copied one of my productions sites to another server, installed and configured joomdle .81 on joomla 2.5.4 and everything was working perfectly on the development domain.
Then I changed the name of the site files to the production domain and repointed the nameservers to go live.
Before making the change I updated the moodle joomdle auth plugin in moodle, and updated the joomdle admin config file to reflect the correct production domain.
That results in the following cycle of error messages and clean page loads.
Go to a page: (Including home page)
1st attempt: “XML-RPC Error (704): The RPC service is not running on this host.”
2nd attempt: reload page: “XML-RPC Error (704): The RPC service is not running on this host.”
3rd Attempt: reload page: Works Perfectly
System check: Cycle of Error messages and four check marks
1st attempt: “Joomla URL seems to be misconfigured in Joomdle auth plugin in Moodle”
2nd system check: “Moodle Networking is not enabled”
3rd system check: Four check marks, system works
But if I do another system check, it starts the same cycle of error messages through four green check marks all over again.
It is going through this cycle just by be doing one system check after another while making no changes in between.
I also noticed that if I have the My Courses module set to joomla view and click on a course it takes me to the correct course, but when I click on a course file it tries to go back to the old development domain.
Is there a setting somewhere in moodle or joomdle that might still have the old domain url?
