Install going well until.............................. was created by Rick
I had unzipped the 0.81 release for Joomla 2.5, and copied the correct bits into the Moodle/auth/joomdle folder.
When I go into admin/notifications menu there is nothing showing on the page and the plugin doers not appear in the plutigms/authentication page either.
Any idea what I can try next? I am on Moodle 2.2.2

Did you unzip the contents into the auth/joomdle folder?
Do you have nested folders? ie auth/joomdle/joomdle ?
Normally such errors are related to the copying of the files to the correct locations.

I'm pretty sure they are in the correct place (see attached screen shot).
There are no nested folders.

There are 3 of them you must unzip them and uploaded them seperately as 2 of them create the same folder name and you will mix and overwrite some content.
Be sure you do this as the apache user/group account or else moodle won't be able to see nor install the code because it won't have access to those subdirectories.
