Moodle Version :- Moodle 2.2.2+ (Build: 20120419)
Joomla Version :- 2.5.4
Joomdle Version :- R0.8

I followed your intall steps on wiki,

I configured everything and I when checking the "system health" I get an error in the Web Services section (empty response by moodle). I wonder if this issue is because of the version of joomla I am using.

I tried joomla 1.7 the same result

according to :http://www.joomdle.com/wiki/System_health_check#Received_empty_response_from_Moodle
I'm sure I write http://
and I donn't have a fire wall, I truned that off

I am using the latest stable moodle version (2.2.2) with the latest joomla version (2.5). I followed all the steps in order to set up the joomdle connector but it does not work at all. I configured everything and I when checking the "system health" I get an error in the Web Services section (empty response by moodle). I wonder if this issue is because of the version of joomla I am using. If so I think I will change back to 1.7.

I really appreciate that you could solve it

I installed both "Moodle 2.2.2+" and "Moodle 2.2.2",

the url is quite similar and I made a mistake....

By the way:
if something similar happened again, please check the "web services overview", to see if moodle is working well

Hi - I am getting the same error, but have not managed to solve the problem. I have checked the URL and there doesn't seem to be a problem. Not sure about the firewall, though... My site is firewalled, but I'm not sure that's causing the problem. I would like to check all other options before turning the firewall off...
If there's anybody with some ideas where to look, Id be very grateful.
Cheers
Nick
