Joomla Login Module in Moodle course view was created by Marc
Is there a recommended way to include Joomla login and My Courses menu that laods in a wrapper WITHOUT displaying the Joomla module in the moodle course view?
We are in the final steps (we hope) of configuring our Joomla 1.7 site using Joomdle. We added Joomla login module to the Joomdle My Courses page. When the user selects the link to a course that have registered for, it loads the moodle course content in the joomla site, using the wrapper.
Is there a way to load the moodle course in the Joomla wrapper WITHOUT having the joomla login module obscure or limit the moodle page layout in the Joomla wrapper?
We are looking through the documentation and forums on this now.
The 'workaround' we are trying right now is to :
1 - create a account login page in joomla
2 - create a link from the account login page to a Joomdle My Courses page that does not include a login/logout module
3 - load the my Courses link in a wrapper
We are wondering if steps 1 and 2 can be combined WITHOUT the login module taking up space when you get to step 3.

I guess you could set up a different menu item pointing to a moodle wrapper.
Then, get the item ID and enter it at the default item id in Joomdle configuration.
Set the module to not appear in this menu item.

In addition to the above, you can choose to have your login modules in different places rather than left or right. For example, on joomdle.com the login is built into our menu thus will not affect any wrapper / horizontal space. Similarly you can choose your login to appear / disappear from pull-outs, pop-ups, above the top menu, etc. All these are design issues.
Also, you may wish to consider using tools like metamod to choose which pages the login modules appear.
