Hello Antonio

I resolved my connection problem between Joomdle and Moodle with this url www.joomdle.com/wiki/Preparing_Moodle_20

My problem came from a lack of rigor in the preparation of web service for Moodle.

Now, I can not quite understand the respective contribution of Joomla and Moodle. What methodology should be applied:

1 - Create courses and course from moodle

or else

2 - Create courses and course since joomdle

It is clear that all information should be found here docs.moodle.org and here www.joomdle.com/wiki/Main_Page
but I do not know what to read first to understand the basic methodology for using moodle and joomla together.

Hi.

Joomdle offers no features for course creation.

As for how to use it, it really dependes on what you want to do. In the Features page in doc, you can find all Joomdle features. Take your time to read trhough the diferrent topics to know which of them may be of your interest.

Hi DINH,

I think you may find it useful to read through Moodle.org to understand what Moodle can do and its weaknesses. Similarly for Joomla. With this background, it will be easier to understand the value and features of Joomdle.

Specifically, Joomdle is designed using the 80-20 rule where it targets 80-90% of the users ie students. For teachers, there are some features however teachers have very specific needs to cater for course creation, content creation, communication, facilitation, grading. You may also wish to define the process / features you are trying to provide for your teachers. Eg. Maybe you are just uploading flash files without any SCORM. Perhaps you require weekly facilitation and testing with term based report cards, perhaps your teachers only create the content and the course management is handled by the administrators. As you can see there is a lot of variety and therefore difficult for us to respond directly without this understanding.
