Hi Shekar, hope you are doing great!

I had not noticed that VM 2.0 stable had been released, so I did not test with it before releasing R0.7.
I have done it now, and it does not work, so I guess they introduced some change since last RC I tried, that broke integration.

I will look into it later today and let you know.
Thanks for the bug report!

Hi again.

I looked into it, and it turns out they changed some table definitions since last RC.
So, I had to re-write part of the code to make it work with VM2.0, but it seems to be working fine now.
I also created a new plugin, which should allow VM2-Joomdle integration, regardless of the payment method used.

Please, write me to antonio@joomdle.com if you are interested in a testing copy.

It's working perfectly now...

I have to work on "Add to Cart" button to directly add the courses from Joomdle instead of redirecting to the VM page...

I like the CSS in Joomdle, now it's easy to modify the layout...

Thanks & Regards

How did you guys solve this? I'm using VM2.0, Joomla! 1.7, Moodle 2.

Apparently, "Enable downloads" which appears to be a required step in order to publish courses is not available because there is no VM plugin for it ( thread here on VM forum ).
When I go to Joomdle --> Shop and click on the Sell on Shop button, all I get is a red bar at the top that looks like an error but there is no message, just the red circle with the white line through it (see attached).

Later on, I plan to use Akeeba Subscriptions to offer time limited memberships. is this the right way to go about it? Should I be selling courses via Moodle rather than Joomla-->VM-->Akeeba Subscription and only use Joomdle to sync the users?

I like the idea of using Joomla-->VM-->Akeeba because it creates less user confusion and admin work.

Thanks a lot for a great product and I hope I can get it to work.

I'm looking forward to hear how you guys fixed this and what your thought are regarding my approach.

Current Joomdle release does not support VM2. Please, write me to antonio@joomdle.com if you are interested in a testing copy.

Joomdle has no integration with Akeeba Subscriptions, although I guess it could be developed if you want to sponsor it.

Email sent.

After looking at the integration options, I think I'll use the ACE.

I'm on a shoestring budget but just out of curiosity, what exactly do you mean by "sponsor it"? Maybe if we had the details, some other people could help given Akeeba Sub is free.

It's still very early in the game for me to go all out. I'm at the "proof of concept" stage.

Thanks

Hi, I sent you the package.

By sponsoring I mean paying for the development of Akeeba Subs integration, the same as other users sponsored other features like AEC or Hikashop integration.
