user sync accross apps

I have integrated joomla1.5.23 and moodle 2.0.2 using joomdle R0.6 on a linux host(hostgator)
Everything is setup correctly. The issue is that new users are only registered on joomla and I have to manually sync with Moodle and Joomdle. Is there a way to automate this process to achieve complete SSO to relieve the job of the admin?

You should not need to sync the users manually. This automated syncronisation is part of Joomdle already. You can see the Joomdle functionality here www.joomdle.com/wiki/Features

If you have installed Joomlde and configured correctly, it should be working for you. You may want to check the system health check for errors. Then resolve any errors identified.

The JSPT multiple profile feature was enabled but no profile was added. I just configured the multiple profile and I'm still testing to make sure this solves the problem. The system health check shows that the system is healthy.

OK good to hear the health check is fine.

If you are using JSPT profile, you will need to also map the fields across that you wish to synchronise. You will also need to create profiles types that match across to moodle. The main objective of JSPT was to provide student and parent syncronisation. It is not designed for teacher profiles, admin, etc.

I have Student, Parent and Teacher profiles on JSPT. I will create the profile types on moodle and do the data mapping too. Do i need to create any roles in Moodle for this?

Roles are not integrated at this time so you will just need to look at the profile types. This feature was created to allow for Parent-Student relationships rather than for any features for Teachers in Joomdle. So doing this for Teachers, at this time, will not provide you with any immediate benefit. Perhaps something in the future.
