Error creating and updating data between both syst was created by Renato
Hello everyone,
I'm a fan of Joomdle and I'm using more or less Seix months. Performed migration from Moodle 1.9 to 2.0 and applied the procedures described here.
Now I am facing a difficulty in updating data between Joomla 1.5.22 and Moodle 2.0. I have completed all requirements and would like to help me find what I gotta do to solve such problems.
My error log of apache says:
[Tue Jan 18 18:42:03 2011] [error] [client 200.***.167.100] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/storage/5/ea/a0/mydomain/public_html/administrator/components/com_joomdle/helpers/content.php on line 618, referer: www.mydomain.com.br/administrator/index....m_joomdle&view=users
[Tue Jan 18 18:42:04 2011] [error] [client 200.***.167.100] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/storage/5/ea/a0/mydomain/public_html/administrator/components/com_joomdle/helpers/content.php on line 627, referer: www.mydomain.com.br/administrator/index....m_joomdle&view=users
- When a new user is created in Joomla it is not brought into Moodle automatically.
- When I saw the update control panel I get an error Joomdle XML-RPC can not record the data.
Help. I hope you help me.
Renato

Hi.
The errors you see are just warnings, not really a problem.
- When I saw the update control panel I get an error Joomdle XML-RPC can not record the data.
This one I don't understand, sorry.
Are you getting all Ok in system check?

Hi Antonio.
I'll try to describe a step by step with the help of screenshots.
1) Register a new user in Joomla
2) In moodle upgrade does not happen.
3) Seeking new user to the panel Joomdle
4) An error in the MySQL database as the image is 01.
5) I need to navigate between pages and back to unlock the top menu.
6) When you encounter. Select and apply the Add User button to Moodle. Here he appears only as the Joomla user table. Picture 02
7) I get the error in the XML-RPC. Image 03
I select the URL field and apply a return and the page reloads. As if to force entry.
9) The screen loads with the error message from MySQL and brings the list of user IDs and negative. Picture 04.
10) I apply the command again to move forward and back pages and the menu disappears and the error list is updated. Now consisting positive and user IDs for 2213 marked the three tables.
In the previous version, I managed to set everything corretamente. As updates were made without problems. I confess that the errors in the migration started to happen and I'm not sure where I went wrong.
Thanks in advance for your help and assistance offered on time.

Hi.
I see you have usernames with special chars.
Can you test one without them and see if anything changes?
Joomdle R0.4 does not support usernames with special chars, nor does Moodle 2.0 I believe.

I'll do a test with a base with a few users. Another error that I received from this apache is below. Do you think he has to do with the same problem of users with special characters?
This is the error log:
Wed Jan 19 15:34:05 2011] [error] [client 187.45.193.174] XML-RPC: xmlrpc_server: parseRequest: invalid charset encoding of received request: UTF8
Thak's

An important question.
Should I proceed with the update on both the database or just one?
I have a database for moodle and another database for Joomla?
What is the correct procedure?

I intend to clean the base of the logins with strange characters.
But I noticed that both moodle and joomla users have their tables.
Correcting the information in one, the other will reflect the update or not?

No, I don't think so.
What I would do is just remove the user with special chars, and test with a normal one.
