My courses categories problem was created by Web Buster UK Ltd
We have a problem with Joomdle (My Courses) module since upgrading. It is repeating the categories. There should only be 2, ICT and Computer Science. It seems to be creating duplicate category names and putting the courses in different categories as each category has different courses in them.

Enrolled was what it was AFTER to the update.
LinkEvidence was what it was BEFORE the update.

Putting the old Joomla back has not worked.

Hi. I moved y our post to a new topic, as it was not related to grades.

I could not replicate the problem locally, so you can try removing any template override you may be using for the module, and test, to see if the problem is with Joomdle or with the override.

Still trying to identify the cause of the issue. We do not have any template override for the module. Disabling all template override for joomdle (we only have it for the my grades view) doesn't seem to make any difference either.

Edit: The menu item "My Courses" does display only 2 categories as it should. So the problem seems to be the module. The issue also persist on a page with only the module in it.

That's weird... I cannot replicate the problem locally, so I would need to debug at your site to try to get some info.

Hi, we've figured out the problem. It seems to be due to sorting by alphabetical order FIRST, and then grouped under separate categories.

We've added a new course called Buying Online (ICT), and it slots itself between Boolean Logic (Computer Science) and Control Systems (Computer Science).

I don't know why you are having this issue, but I cannot replicate it. Look at the picture: it shows the correct order.

Very strange indeed, we think this occurred after upgrading to 1.2.1. We'll try uninstalling and reinstalling joomdle, but as it's a live site it'll have to wait till the weekend.

Don't do that, I am sure it won't help. If you want, send me access info by email and I will take a look.
