Hi there,

On our Joomla post-login home page, we have got My courses (Joomla module) to display user enrolled courses.

We have recently upgraded to Moodle 3.1 from Moodle 2.9.

Everything works fine both in Joomla and Moodle.

However, once or twice a week for about half an hour the My Courses module do not display the user courses (URLS). It just says you do not have any courses enrolled yet. It fixes itself. When this happens all the items in system check are in green.

I am wondering what could be the cause for this.

Any idea where should I start troubleshooting? Are there any specific Joomdle logs?

Thanks.

Hi.

I have never seen or heard about a similar behaviour, so I don't know how you can investigate it. If when that happens, you open moodle, does it correctly shows your courses?
There is no log related to this, sorry.

Hi Antonio,

Thanks for your reply.

This has happened two times for about 10 minutes in the last 3 days. As mentioned earlier it fixes itself.

Users can go to Moodle without any issues and they will see their courses when this issue appears, its just that they do not appear in My Courses module and a warning appears in Joomdle courses module.

When this happens I get this error in Joomdle courses module in Joomla:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for for foreach() in /administrator/components/com_joomdle/fields/courselist.php on line 83.

When the issue fixes by itself, this warning disappears.

I was able to manage to take screenshots when this happened yesterday but I am not sure how I can upload here.

Regards,
Sandeep

Hi.

You can send pics to antonio at joomdle dot com if you prefer.

As for the error: it is just a warning that shows because there is no courses in array. But this is a symptom, not a cause.
I am currently away so I cannot look into it, but I could try to take a look when I return at the end of february....
