[Solved] Using Course Modules alongside Joomdle wrapper

Hi there,

Is it only possible to include course modules (like Course Mates, or the Navigation bar etc.) when viewing the Course via the Joomdle/Course contents view (from Joomla menu items)? I can't get them to work with my wrapper.

I've read about configuring the Course item ID in the Joomdle backend - pretty sure I've done this ok.

Thanks!

Rob

Yes, it should be possible, but you need to set the item id right as you say.
If you are using wrapper, course item id does not apply, but instead default item id.
If you set the modules to appear in that menu item id, they should appear when you link to wrapper from my courses view, for example.

- My menu item ID (from a menu which isn't visible, with no modules assigned) set up to show Joomdle Course content = 528.
- My Joomdle wrapper menu item = 498. Users access moodle content from the wrapper directly, immediately after logging on (I'm designing a site for one course only)

I can't get the Joomdle Course modules to appear on the same page as my wrapper (the Joomdle calendar does, but nothing else). I've tried setting the Default item Id to 528 but no joy. Is this what you meant by "setting the modules to appear in that menu item id"?

Sorry if this is an obvious question...

Think I've worked this out now - as you say, I needed to link to the wrapper from 'My Courses' module -

Thanks!

Great!! There is not many people using those modules (that I know of), and I am sure documentation can be improved :)
