Question on Parent/Child Setup

I'm not sure where to post this one, so I thought I'd ask it here. I'm trying to figure out the best way to accomplish this. I've already got Joomdle 1.0 installed with Moodle 2.8.2 and Joomla 3.3.6 and it works pretty nicely. Now we want to set it up to have a parent/child system. The parent would log in and buy a specific number of licenses for a year. They would then be able to create the accounts for their employees, up to the number of licenses they purchased. Currently I'm looking at Hikashop as the system to do this.

How would you go about this setup? I see that there's a "Buy Courses for Children" choice in the Shop Integration portion, but do the children already have to exist? How do other people manage these types of systems? I will have multiple companies logging in with their employees and the system is more of an À la carte system, where if they have a license, they can enroll in all of the courses, or just some of them. Whatever they want. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No, you can add them later, via Joomdle "register " view. You log in with "parent" user, and then create accounts, so they are linked to the parent user.

Maybe you need new development for this. Right now, a parent buys courses, and can later assign them to children. However, this is per-course: you buy one course, you can assign one course.
What you need seems different, but we could develop it for you if it is possible.

Okay, that helps out a bit. I will think through this one a bit more to see if I can figure out a subscription base. I figured I would have to build a little into the system to get this portion to work, something like a license tracking system.

What do I need to setup to make the Parent/Child portion work? I've been digging in the documentation but I feel like I'm just missing something, which I'm sure is just me. It's been one of those kind of weeks already and my mind doesn't seem to like me today lol

You need:
- Set the buy courses for children option
- Create a menu item for joomdle register view
- Create a menu item for joomdle assign courses view

Once a user buy a course, he can go to assign courses view and assign it to their children. He will need to create children accounts before he can assign courses.
