Tienda Moodle : Limit Class Size

Background:

Noticed that in Tienda - there is a feature called:
"Stock Levels According to Attributes"

Feature Request:

Using Joomdle, is it possible to limit the number of seats available to register in a Moodle course using this feature within Tienda?

Problem:

Many of our teachers want to limit the size of class to 15 or 20 students max. Moodle does not support limiting the number of registrations that can be completed within a course. It only supports using a registration key and then manually handing the key out x number of times.

Benefits:

By having an "inventory" of class seats, the maximum size of class could be set up front. Once class is full, parents would know since the class would no longer be available to purchase. Parents / Students could then sign up for another class at a different time or with a different teacher.

Good suggestion. Have you tried already? If you limit it within Tienda (or VM - it controls stock too) and the stock level has reached then you will get a sold out sign instead of a add to cart button. So you should not be able to purchase. Thus doesn't it work already?

Haven't tried yet. Still need to install Tienda or VM to do testing for your next rev. If it works out of the box - suggest you guys still take credit for the "Joomdle feature"! This is another pain point I see on the Moodle Forum - and one we also experience at our school.
