I'm new and about to embark on this journey... looking forward to it!
I'm wondering if it is possible to implement a way for a course to be available after a payment for the course has been processed? Ideally, end users would be able to select a course from among several, pay for the course, then take the selected course.
Any thoughts on this possibility would be helpful! Could this be facilitated through a subscription base such as cbsubs?
This is one area that we are mapping out as we speak. It's only at the concept stage so a little way off. Initial thoughts are to use VirtueMart as the commerce engine which lists the courses. Once the purchase has been made, granting permission to the course.
I have not considered Points, Subscriptions, etc at this point but that would be a logical extension and even perhaps an alternative if they already integrate with VM. I will have a quick look at those too see how they can benefit and bring a solution to market faster.
